In the suffrage era, Women's clubs became quite popular. This particular group, M.F.W.C. of Minnesota started in 1895. Joined The General Federation of Women's Clubs same year. An organization dedicated to community improvement through volunteer service and to providing opportunities that strengthen the role of women. The Federations colors: Russett and Gold. Federation Pin: Gold Star bearing in Russett M.F.W.C.. Showing names of prominent towns, women and a complete journal on activities. A federation of over 3,000 women's clubs in the United States which promoted civic improvements through volunteer service. Many of its activities and service projects are done independently by local clubs through their communities or national partnerships. Remains one of the world's largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational, women's volunteer service organizations. Covers are brown paper wraps and show very minor soiling. Very good condition for this timeline. The earliest edition shows a dark discoloration to the far edges of most pages. The others are clear. The 1921 - 22 book shows the glue let go on the spine but book is still intact.
