Published: The Cootey Company Minneapolis, Minn. Annual report of the Minnesota Federation of Women's Clubs Rare Edition Approx Size: 8 x 5.25 inches -- 146 pages This book is a very scarce item. In the suffrage era, Women's clubs became quite popular. This particular group, M.F.W.C. of Minnesota started in 1895. Joined The General Federation of Women's Clubs same year. The Federations colors: Russett and Gold Federation Pin: Gold Star bearing in Russett M.F.W.C. Showing names of prominent towns, women and a complete journal on activities. A federation of over 3,000 women's clubs in the United States which promoted civic improvements through volunteer service. Many of its activities and service projects are done independently by local clubs through their communities or national partnerships. Remains one of the world's largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational, women's volunteer service organizations. Covers are brown paper soft wraps and show minor soiling. Good condition for this timeline but shows a dark discoloration to the far edges of most pages. Almost as if deliberate and in some sense depicts a nice aged effect. But there is almost some staining at the far end pages upper right corner. This shows some on the fabulous early advertising at the back of the book. * Pettijohn Pure Products Co. * Midland National Bank * Red Cross Federated * Mrs. Miller Salted Nuts * Everette Pianos * Grahams Quality Ice Cream * A.G. Reinecke Furs *Northwestern Line RR * Chicago Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway * Calumet Baking Powder and More .... Great graphics. Feel free to email any questions that you may have prior to purchase.
