Publisher: McGraw-Hill Book Company 1932 Second Edition HC: 255 pages; Approx Size: 8.25" x 5.75" inches Henry A. Erikson - Emeritus professor of physics at the University of Minnesota and chairman of the Minnesota Department of Physics from 1915 to 1938. Scarce textbook for the University. Whatever justification there is for the publication of this volme, the author feels must lie in the gradual leading up from the simpler concepts to the more complex and in an attempt at an orderly unfolding of the subject. This, it seems to the author can be attained only through adherence to the sequence _ length, time, and mass. Great gift idea for the teacher or student. Hard to find original copy. Very good condition for the age. Slightly bumped corners and spine ends. Black cloth with gold gilt lettering on spine. The previous owners/student's name 'Harvey Jensen' 1915 - 1996; of Winger (McIntosh) Mn. is at the first endpaper. Across on first blank page is very light penciling of class schedule. Otherwise interior spotless and sharp. Tight and intact. Please see photos, enlarge and email with any questions prior to purchase. Thanks for looking. |
