A beautiful Art Noveau era two-volume book set - Lorna Doone, A Romance of Exmoor. By R.D. Blackmore.

Each volume is approximately 550 pages. Red ribbon place mark original to books. Hardcover, lacking jackets (don't believe they were issued), and with a beautiful rust, white and darker green designed covers.

In "good plus" condition - Gilt titles and decoration on spines and front covers. Top edges gilt. Very minor wear to covers and edges,
no writings that I can see other than the previous owners name in script and date 1920. 'Verne Otto' Again, for the collector, or as a truly romantic gift.
