This story is not all fiction. Some of the characters actually live, and some of the circumstances were taken directly from life. From my own congregation many young people went away to attend the State College, and not a few returned hom confimed infidels. Scores of minister with whom I talked about these things assured me that they had the same experience. .... taken from the Preface.

Very nice hardcover first edition. Art Nouveau decorated covers and spine in black against the green cloth. Red lettering. Interior clean of any markings other than the afore mentioned script at front.
