Carl Hirsch Konstanz Germany 1880s German Language Approx. size: 3.75" by 2.75" Beautiful miniature religious German book. Published by Karl Hirtch. Fabulous illustrations of forget-me-nots throughout the Wisconsin, to Frederick D. Zweifel and Lena Zweifel (born Segessenman)book and on the cover. The cover is also adorned with the Eastern Star I believe and several angels. . I'm guessing the age by the dates I find written inside. Personal handwritten dedications, dates, names I'm assuming from one families history. The first name in the book is Louise Roth. Other names .. Jeanne Ringgenberg 1928 (Jeanne Ringgenberg's bio. Born 1919 and died 1972) Cindy Ringgenberg 1959. Alfred Ringgenberg 1926 Elizabeth Ringgenberg 1918 Ema Frutiger 1892 Marie Frankhauser 1889 Marie Roth John Luginbuhl 1918 Alice Lena Zweifel March 1933, Died June 1933 -- Wisconsin, to Frederick D. Zweifel and Lena Zweifel (born Segessenman) Hopefully some of these names will help with family genealogy. It appears most of these folks were from Iowa and Wisconsin, maybe some in Minnesota. Beautiful little book, just holding it makes you know that it's full of memories and lives from long ago. There is a split in the cloth covers as you can see by spine.
