One of Henneberry's Favorite Medallion Poets books. Illustrated. Embellished with numerous illustrations, especially made for the series.
Portrait of author in solid gold leaf on lovely full soft leather highly ornate padded binding. Illuminated title page, full gold edges. Pale pink silk ribbon bookmark.

The book ends with The Life of Lord Byron by Alexander Leighton.

The embossed flowers on this cover look to be Passion Flower.  Scarce edition. Excellent as a gift of for your own library.

Very good antique condition. Some minor wear to corners and spine ends. Decorated end papers. Former owner's written name in pencil shows on front end paper.
The only date I can find is at the end of 'The Corsair' 1814.
