Pages are clean crisp bright and tight.

Full maroon or red calf leather with bright gilt lettering and design on front and spine. All edge gilt, decorated endpapers, decorated title page, illustrated frontis of Walter Scott with tissue guard.

Spine is lightly rubbed and sunned along with edges, flash makes it look worse than it is, gilt is still bright and still a very attractive book.
