Very richly illustrated and replete with comprehensive tables, charts and timelines, this is clearly a superb addition to a serious musician's functional library -- an absolute necessity for a conductor or music librarian! Via online review.

Very nice condition for this hardcover with dj. Jacket shows some edgewear with a small open tear at upper back edge. The book is with a spotless interior outside of a stamp from music store where it was purchased many years ago.
