First Event Booklet showing many Musical artists Publisher: Ju Percussion Group Foundation 1993 This book is approx. 12" by 8.25" -- 92 pages Subjects: Music; Musical Instruments; Percussion This beautiful book is very scarce and very collectible. Hard to find and in fabulous condition. Original Poster still inside. In 1993, Ju launched the Taipei International Percussion Convention, and later changed "Taipei” to "Taiwan” in the title. The convention is held every three years, bringing numerous international percussion ensembles to perform in Taiwan as well as introducing Taiwan's percussion music to the world. "It was always a dream of mine to organize an international percussion convention," says Tzong-ching Ju. This dream finally came true in 1993." Founder Ju Tzong-ching is the first Taiwanese artist to have received the Performer Diploma in Percussion by the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Much of the book is written in; I assume, Tawian. I cannot describe much of the book due to this. But I can attest to the beauty of it and it's condition is wonderful for the age. Well kept. Clean and spotless interior. See all photos and please email with any questions. |
