The Country Gentleman was an American magazine on farming and rural life published in the 19th century and early 20th century. An American agricultural magazine founded in 1852 in Albany, New York, by Luther Tucker.

This is a very early magazine for the American Farmer and Hist Family and in hard to find condition for the age.  The cover art is a older gent perhaps remembering his childhood in class.  Cover artist Angus Mac Donall (1876 - 1927).

Full of many great articles for the era. The Diary of a Country Woman by Corra Harris. Also full of fabulous advertisements for tractors, cars and more.

Showing some very minor wear at the staples. Slightly bumped corners. Clean and bright interior. Great antique Ephemera preserved beautifully.

Please see photos, enlarge and email with any questions. Thanks for looking.
