Some history on the illustrator;
JESSIE WILLCOX SMITH (September 6, 1863 – May 3, 1935) was a United States illustrator famous for her work in magazines such as Ladies Home Journal and for her illustrations for children's books.

Measures approx. 9.5" x 7".

Extremely nice. The slightest bit of wear to the outer edges of the covers due to shelf wear.  A small open tear at the tip of the first beige endpaper and upper edge. The pages are clean, tight and bright. A few show some very minor creasing. Considered very good for the age.
