Manuscript by Charles L. Freadhoff Regarding his life and the love of his life Approx. size: 8.5" by 5.5" -- 114 pages Charles L. Freadhoff December 23, 1914 - May 19, 2010 Elizabeth McGee Freadhoff Feb-01-1915 - Jul-06-1985 MAJOR in the US ARMY during World War II Born in North Dakota, Charles was a Captain & Major in U.S. Army during World War II and served in North Africa and Italy. He was a businessman and farmer in LaMoure, North Dakota until moving to Covina in 1957. The book is comprehensive and detailed work by Mr. Freadhoff. It is a wonderful portion of his life typed out in this 114 page manuscript that explains details of his war service and the great love he held for his wife Elizabeth McGee Freadhoff. I have tried endlessly to reach family members but with no luck yet. If a member of Charles family can be verified, the book will go to them for free. It again is a moment in time and such a marvelous and meloncoly read. Beginning with a photograph of 'Libby' T2 U.S. Navy and a preface likening him to being the luckiest man in world. And ending Vaya Con Dios My Darling. Very nice and well taken care of through the years. As found years ago in an estate. Would be great for family or genealogy purposes. Please see photos, enlarge and email with any questions. Thanks for looking. |
