Dumbledore explains to Harry why he can speak Parseltongue. He refers to Lord Voldemort as “the last remaining ancestor of Salazar Slytherin.” He quite obviously means descendant, not ancestor Like New: Book looks new and not been read. Cover has no visible wear, nor does the dust jacket ~ Blue boards, green cloth spine. The copyright page has the full number line "10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 9/9 0/0 1 2 3 4". Below the number line is "Printed in the U.S.A. 37", and below that is "First American edition, June 1999." Wonderful early book.
