Marvel Comics Group Vol 1 No 1 - October 1982 60c Cover Price -- 32 pages Cover by John Buscema Editors Jim Shooter / Louise Jones I'm learning as I go...so this would be a 'newstand' edition due to the barcode, left bottom. In this case, very good condition. Conan is sold into slavery after his parents are killed by Thulsa Doom. Becoming a mighty warrior and freeing himself, Conan allies with Valeria and Subotai to rob the Tower of the Serpent; Conan recognizes the Cult's symbol as the same one that Thulsa Doom had worn; Conan kills the Great Guardian Serpent and flees the Cult. Adapted from the film. Very nice used condition. The worst of the comic is a slight cock to the cover, note last photo. Right edge is showing a very soft curl, slightly bumped corners. One page in the center shows a very, very tiny tear at edge...only noticeable again, last photo..see outer edge. There is a factory red mark at top interior pages. Interior spotless and nice.
