A vintage Friendly Animals book with pictures by C.M. Burd and published in 1928 by the Saalfield pub. Such a fun early 20th century book with outstanding illustrations. Perfect for your book collecting or for framing.

Clara M. Burd illustrations. Often signed her work, C M Burd. She is one of the few illustrators who went to Paris to study art. Often used a mix of muted, neutrals contrasting with brighter tones. Such appealing treasures and great memories of a childhood from a by gone time.

Book is in fair to good condition for it's age, but please note..... pages is loose from the staples. Staples show rusting. The last few pages show open and closed tears. All pages show minor soiling. Still a wonderful find. Again, a few would be fabulous framed.
