The story of The Letter on the Tree follows a young French Canadian boy named Albert Caron, who lives on a small dairy farm in Canada. He is deeply in love with an accordion and wishes to have one for Christmas. To fulfill his wish, Albert attaches a letter to a Christmas tree, which will be sold in the United States. The letter reaches an American boy named Debert, who is also a fan of the accordion. The two boys share a bond and eventually meet in person, leading to a series of adventures and discoveries. The book is illustrated with drawings by John Kaufmann, adding to the charm and appeal of the story. The book is near mint with only soft bumped corners. Clean and bright interior.
