This book is a scarce title in the Household Stories series. The cover is a hard one to find with a fairy sitting by a set of mushrooms. It is lavishly illustrated in line drawings and other. Excellent gift idea, nursery room display or for your personal children's book addition.

Minnie Hilsted .... some history for genealogy purposes:
Minnie Hilstead was born circa 1887, at birth place, Wisconsin.
Minnie married Albert Hilstead.

The book is in great shape for the age. Covers show edge wear with rubbing/ scuffing. Binding is tight, strong. The pages show a smudge here and there but the only writing is on the front endpaper. The endpaper's are illustrated as well and with a green tint.
