Original early 20th century illustrated children's book that is in hard to find condition. Scarce regardless. The story of these little elves called Twinkies and of their town full of humanized insects and animals.
Marvelously illustrated in detail and in bright colors by Arthur Henderson. Rare find.

Tinker-Tum, the Twinkie jack of all trades has gone missing and Twinkie Town wants him back.  Thinker-Tad goes searching in a balloon and....finds him.
They return on the wings of a bird, clasping a delicious plum which is shared with the rejoicing town folk.

Wonderful publication with equally beautiful pictures. This looks to be in very good condition for its age but spine shows wear as can see in photos.

The very back shows the only writing and this is by the original previous owner when she was a child...her name and town.

The perfect piece for display or to read to your children or grandchildren.
