But his plot to harm and disgrace Red Feather fails and the son of Big Chief safely reaches the distant camp."

David Cory (1872-1966) was a Wall Street stockbroker as well as a children's author. He wrote several books populated by a variety of animal characters, including Little Jack Rabbit, Billy Bunny, and Puss in Boots, Jr.

Book in wonderful condition, extremely nice. No writings other than a toddlers name in ink on first page after endpapers and the previous attractive bookplate. Brown cloth spine with white illustrated boards. Original DJ is here but this is in tough shape.

The owner loved the book enough to keep it together with old drawer paper and tape which actually protected the book through the years.
