The original ship, the Nonsuch, led to the founding of the Hudson's Bay Trading Company. Laird Rankin, the man responsible for the Nonsuch from the moment she reached Canada, tells the behind-the-scenes story of the replica project, and outlines the painstaking procedure of her construction in England.
