Publisher : The Winters Company 1916 Springfield Ohio Approx. size: 14.25" by 11.25" Beautiful original antique calendar from 1916 ... compliments of Sproul's Confectionery 'We Appreciate Your Patronage' in Scio, Ohio. Scio is a village in Harrison County, Ohio. Although it may be considered a small town, doing research I find it full of neat history. Beautiful little Victorian Girl is the center of attention for this calendar. She's a real little looker (which is troubling somewhat) and very sweet. She's wearing a string of pearls and her hair is slightly mussed with ringlets of curls. 'Our Little Sunbeam' is her title at the lower right corner under her image which measures approx. 8.5" by 8.5" This was produced by The Winters Company of Springfield Ohio. A very early printing house. Note last photo as I was lucky enough to find the old image online. Nice antique condition some bumped corners and a tear at the hole for hanging. Very soft creases lower right below her image. Also note a small mark across her forehead, not sure if factory flaw or removable. Looks as though a cover was torn off to expose the full 1916 Calendar at the bottom. Please see and enlarge photos and email with any questions prior to purchase. Thanks |
