Publisher: Adventure Publications 133 pages -- Approx. Size 6 x 8.75 inches The work tells a story of primarily four college roommates, and he labels it 'Faction', indicating both fact and fiction; but the tale is essentially true, with some names altered slightly so as not to identify totally his once-screwball roommates who have since matured .... back cover. A fictionalized and humorous autobiographical account of life in a small Midwestern private college in the 1950s.This book was originally written just for college students in the author's classes, primarily freshmen who disliked history. Author was a professor of history at Bemidji State University, Minnesota at time of writing. Believed to be a first ed. this paperback is in very good condition. Slightly bumped corners. A mild crease on back cover. Date stamp light on title page. It appears the title page is clipped upper corner. Still a very nice book and great for anyone who lived the 50's or wants to remember the times in Bemidji MN. Please see and enlarge photos and email with any questions prior to purchase. Thanks |
