Clyde Edward Pangborn Born: October 28, 1894, Bridgeport, WA - Died: March 29, 1958, New York City, NY. He was known as "Upside-Down Pangborn" was an American aviator and barnstormer who performed aerial stunts in the 1920s. Exceptional pilot of the 1920s, half owner-chief pilot of the famous Gates Flying Circus, and the first to fly the Pacific non-stop. Book is in very good condition with slightly bumped corners and spine ends. Blue cloth with white lettering. Interior spotless except for the previous owners small stamp of name and address on front end papers and once at back blank page.
